I have always had alot of respect for photographers that work in the moment, and having started that way I wanted to get back in touch with my street photography roots.
So on a resent trip to New York I made my way on the D train from Harlem where I was staying, for the hour long ride through Brooklyn to the end of the line at Coney Island.
The tricky part about taking these sort of photos is taking these shots without being noticed. So what I decided to do as a starting point was to walk by people I wanted to photograph taking a photo as I passed by with my camera on silent mode from waist level.
This takes a bit of practice.
All was good until I was discovered.
Anyways here are some of those images.
